Is this just Earthrise Optimus Prime with 2 battle masters and no trailer?

As bad as the distribution for this is, he's one of the best Optimus Prime toys made in the franchise history. it really is a shame this line was delayed and slowly trickled out to retail at the very cusp of Christmas shopping. 
Cons: 
I wish it was cheaper, without the worthless banana boys he's packed with, and easier to find. Those two lemon drop mini-bots he comes with are awful.
If you really want to nitpick, the shoulders could use more articulation to reach across his chest better and the long legs can appear disproportionate.
Pros: The detail, quality, finish, and tolerances are the best you'll find short of a premium collectable costing several hundred dollars. It is a nice enough product to either be the best toy in a clever child's toybox, or a very nice piece on your office desk.

Please make these easier to find.

Very very nice repaint of ER Prime. It improves on an already great mold by replacing the grey plastic with dark blue for the joints and the sides of the legs which makes the figure more cohesive in design and changes up the paint apps a little bit so it can resemble MP-10 and the original G1 figure.  The accessories are also rather nice especially if you haven't picked up Soundbarrier or Pteraxadon.

Great redeco

This is a great figure for kids or adult kids who want to relive their childhoods. The articulation and paint are great. Looks like the Optimus Prime we know and love from afternoon cartoons. The transformation may be difficult for younger fans but it can be a great way for kids and parents to play together.

Fun for everyone!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 43 and I still love these toys. My six-year-old is familiar with Optimus Prime and has just graduated to this version from the much simpler child version. After working through the transformation, she quickly learned all of the steps involved. Technically, I lost control of it for a few hours because she would not put it down. The truck rolls and the poseable robot stands. 

What is great is that there are details upon details that keep you engaged. I'm a fan of whomever designed this one. You move and fold so many pieces the articulation is impressive. My kids laughed when I would make the ‘transforming' sound with my mouth. Initially all movements were tight but by the fifth transformation, everything was smooth.  

The accessories are fun and help with interactive play. Be careful getting the smaller transformers out of the packaging. With the tight fit, I accidentally broke the wing off of the Enerax. The instructions are mostly useful, but it is very gratifying trying to figure it out on your own. 

It is a great way to share your childhood with your children. 

PS: I have another one on my desk at work. It is good for a mental break, conversation piece or just something to fidget with when you are thinking.

Robots in disguise are so cool

This sharp reissue of the Transformers Earthrise Optimus is super detailed and articulated. Fun to transform and pose. This version does not include his Earthrise trailer that transforms into a battle station, but the addition of the 2 Weaponizer robots makes up for it. Bonus feature - the chest opens to reveal the iconic Matrix of Leadership. One of the best Optimus figures hands down.

A wonderful addition to the TF figure line

Ooh yeah that's what I'm talking about. 

Here's the good: Very solid figure with some really nice details. Looks amazing in either mode and the process isn't difficult at all to transform. I really like the Matrix of Leadership here. 

The bad: Optimus himself is great, but his blaster doesn't fix into place. The barrel folds down for truck mode and when you open it up for gun mode it just kinda flips around and you have to be careful or it'll fold back up slightly. The support transformers are awful. The shield isn't bad but the ax. The ax is so flimsy and the second I went to transform it the thing snapped catastrophically. The other two transformers are not worth it at all. 

Final verdict: awesome figure. Get it now, but get the one with the trailer. Not these flimsy little novelties. Because now I have a useless broken ax and need a trailer.

Autonomous beings! Contort and move with haste!

Okay, I was really looking forward to this, but the package arrived damaged and one of the three toys arrived broken. The detail was so minute because it was a broken piece of plastic, it really is almost impossible to replace, but the main figure was great. I just hate the fact that I got something broken from walmart. I wont take it back because I cant get this locally. And it was hard enough getting it from a store from abroad for shipping. Im not going to purchase this again through this store, and look somewhere else for the item that arrived broken.

I would have given it a 5 star had it came with a trailer, but this Optimus Prime is absolutely fabulous! You have to have it in your collection!!

Great collection

Great detail and design of this Optimus Prime. Best one I've seen for a reasonable price. My only complaint is the box came in damaged. I paid almost $50 for this, and for some reason it's okay to send something out in a damaged box. Since it's going to be displayed out of the box I didn't send it back.

Great Optimus Prime, Lousy Box Condition

I gave this a star for Walmart service. I know I should have contacted them but why bother? The toy is fine. It's actually a pretty cool transformers figure but it was the packaging that has become the issue. I don't understand why the item I purchased was not shipped in a sturdy box. It was shipped in a flimsy bubble mailer and the actual item's box was totally crushed. I collect action figures and sometimes I take them out of package to display them and sometimes I leave them in box to preserve them. It's a silly thing that collectors do and in this day and age, toy collectors are crazy. I'm not a scalper and would never re-sell any of my collection online or anything. It is just very hard to find these action figures in stores because of several different factors, poor distribution, COVID and scalpers, so most of the time I have to buy online... I was disappointed in the delivery and I don't blame the USPS, I blame Walmart for the poor decision to ship my item in a bubble mailer. Maybe it had something to do with shipping cost, I don't know... but I'm just very disappointed...

The toy is fine... the packaging was destroyed...
